One of the most common calls we get is from customers who have used our gym floor marking tape for years, but are now finding that it no longer adheres properly to the floor.

Usually, the reason is because they have changed the formula that is used to clean the floor or they have failed to properly remove a cleaning chemical after the floor is mopped.

Cleaning solutions have compounds designed to loosen sticky substances and sometimes these can cause the floor surface to reject tape adhesive.

If you are experiencing this then you need to make sure that your floor is really clean and chemical free before applying tape.  If you have recently changed the formula that is used to keep your floor clean, you may have to reconsider your choice.
