USA Volleyball in Florida is hoping to develop a beach volleyball complex on Lake Harris that would draw some of the best players in the world.

The propsed Lake County facility would bring economic stimulus to the area by attracting USA Volleyball’s 12,000 Florida members as well as players from across the country.

The proposal is to add thirteen courts to facilities already in place at the Ski Beach facility.

When not in use for competition, the courts would be available to local residents.

Initial costs are projected to be about $175,00.00
