Tar Heels Head For NCAA Regionals

The 25-5 UNC women’s volleyball team will head to Ames, Iowa for the first round of this year’s NCAA tournament to face 15-15 California. The nationally ranked Tar Heels beat rival NC State in their final home match last week. The first round regional match up is on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

Tar Heels Go Two For Two In Weekend League Play

UNC Women’s Volleyball posted back to back victories over the weekend in ACC league play. They defeated Miami on Friday, 3-0 and Florida State 3-1 on Saturday, both on their home court in Carmichael Arena. The Tar Heels return home for a final home stand beginning Friday Nov. 16.

Carolina’s Neunfeldt Co-ACC Player of The Week

The Atlantic Coast Conference has named Tar Heel middle blocker Paige Neunenfeldt co-player of the week for the week of October 22. Neunfeldt, a freshman from Birmingham, MI, helped lead Carolina to victories over Maryland and Boston College on the volleyball court. The Tar Heels are now 8-3 in conference play.
